The Journey

How 9 Acres Event Barn in Provo, Utah helps brides enjoy the whole process of planning a wedding, not just the wedding day. Weddings that are Easy, Fun and Memorable

Hey everyone! Today, I want to chat about something super important when planning your wedding.  The importance of  enjoying the  journey!  Yes, believe it or not, planning a wedding can and should be fun!  Most brides, though, need help to know how to enjoy the whole process and not just the final event.

Learning how to enjoy the planning process can make all the difference in how you feel about your celebration.  It’s not just about the big day, it’s about everything that leads up to it. Trust me, when you hear about what we are going to have at 9 Acres Event Barn, it will turn stress into excitement and anticipation, making your event easy, fun, and oh-so-memorable!

Let me tell you about my experience this winter, helping my daughter plan her wedding.  What should have been fun and exciting proved to be stressful and overwhelming.  My only daughter was getting married but she was drowning with choices, details, and deadlines!  I wanted this whole process to be special for both of us—memorable in so many good ways.  I remember sitting down with her and feeling overwhelmed and not knowing what direction to take, and how to help her enjoy the journey.

As we started planning, we explored everything from what venue to use, fake or real flowers, DJ or someone’s playlist, what caterer to use, what kind of invitations to order, how many guests we should invite, choosing a photographer and videographer, and so much more!

I could see my daughters worries and stress increase as we planned. We needed a place to organize our thoughts and to  put contracts and vender information.  A timeline or calendar of necessary tasks in able to track our progress.  This was not so easy.

In the end, the wedding was wonderful and we were all happy how it turned out.  But what I would have given to have had for my daughter’s wedding, the help we are going to offer our brides at 9 Acres Event Barn.

All our brides will have access to a  free custom wedding portal that will help with wedding planning, checklists, timeline, payments, and documents

They will also get a free personal wedding website to share and communicate with their guests and to organize guest lists, gift registries, photos and announcements.

The personalized planning portal is where you can manage it all. Budgets? Check. Vendor chats? Done. Custom checklists that make you feel like a planning pro? Absolutely. It’s like having a wedding dashboard that actually makes planning fun.

And communication? No more scattered emails or lost texts and documents.  You can chat directly with us at 9 Acres or with your vendors — and store it all in one spot. That means fewer headaches and more time to focus on the good stuff.

Plus, you can loop in your partner, wedding party, or anyone else who’s helping you plan.  You will have your own personalize website so  everyone knows the vision and plan, which means fewer, “Wait, what’s the plan again?” moments.

So, if you’re ready to plan a wedding that’s easy, fun, and so so memorable,  9 Acres Event Barn will have your back.

Let’s make your day one to remember — and actually enjoy the journey getting there.
